Noché was born on June 24th 2002 and joined our family 8 weeks later. Right away we knew she was going to be a handful. Everything she did was fast, from eating, to walking, to leaving the house and jumping in the car. She assumed her role as master of our family and from that point on she traveled everywhere with us. She moved numerous times, crossed Canada on a camping trip, traveled to California and loved to visit the vineyards, swam on the Oregon coast and hiked every mountain along the way. She loved camping and loved luxury hotels just as much. She was kind, fun, affectionate, strong and determined. Noché filled our home with joy and welcomed everyone with a wag of the tail and lick on the hand.
We lost Noché on April 3rd, 2017 and our lives will never be the same. We will miss her every day.
We want to thank the West Kootenay Animal Hospital. It was the most difficult decision we have ever made and after all of the joy she had brought to us, we owed it to her to not let her suffer. The WKAH team was kind and respectful. They welcomed us and made a discreet space for us to accompany our dog in her last moments. They followed our lead and gave us the time, space and support we needed.
Although we will forever miss her, we are thankful for the support we received.
Happy trails Noche and may you get to eat everything you wish along the way, play endlessly and sleep peacefully.
