On June 3, 2015 our dog, Cody passed away very peacefully at the ripe old age of 15 ½. Over the past 15 years Cody was a very vibrant Shih Tzu cross with his own agenda, which consisted mostly of running away and stopping traffic in both directions on our busy highway. He was very challenging at times for us, but also he gave us lots of smiles and laughs along the way. He was a good sport and was always up for camping, canoeing, going for truck rides with his head hanging out the window, enjoying his ears flapping in the wind and just being lazy on the hot summer days. He loved to lay on the grass in the hot sunshine with his feet sticking straight out behind him. Cody was never much of a swimmer or a ball chaser, but he loved to run from us and be chased or just explore around the acreage that was all his. Our hearts are a little more empty without him here, but he left us with so many memories and we are blessed to have had him join our family.
