COVID-19 January 2022

UPDATE as of January 2022:

Starting January 10th 2022, our clinic will be going into lockdown. This means we will be doing everything CURBSIDE so we will not be allowing clients into our office for appointments or medication/food pick-ups. Our doors will be locked.

We will only be seeing emergencies and urgent care patients. Our ability to do routine physical examinations and vaccinations will depend on our clinic staffing levels so we will contact you if your appointment is going to be cancelled. All surgeries will continue as scheduled depending on staffing levels so we will contact you if your surgery is going to be cancelled. Your appointment reminder will let you know what to do once you arrive to the clinic for an appointment/surgery.

If possible, please call ahead to order and pre-pay for your pet’s food and/or medications. Also, we have a great online store that you can order and pay at https://www.myvetstore.ca/westkootenayanimalhospital

We will be re-evaluating our protocols day by day. Please be kind and be patient. We are doing our best and we hope these changes will not be in place for long!

We appreciate your support and patience with us as we navigate through these times. Please give us  call at 250-364-1910 if you have any questions.

If you are feeling at all unwell or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please either

- Arrange for someone else to bring your pet, or
- If your pet is scheduled for a wellness visit and isn’t sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment. You won’t be penalized for canceling an appointment due to illness or possible exposure.
